CMM OPERATOR

Description

We are looking for a skilled CMM Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure accurate and precise measurements of parts and components. The position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program CMMs to measure parts and components
• Ensure accuracy and precision of measurements
• Conduct inspections of parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with CMM equipment or measurements
• Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and procedures
• Document and report findings to team leads and management

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CMM Operator
• Proficiency in operating and programming CMM equipment
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in the use of measuring tools and equipment
• Knowledge of ISO and AS9100 quality standards
• Good communication and documentation skills
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification, with additional certification in CMM operation preferred
