Role Summary
Yuma is looking for a Cluster Head to manage our BaaS operations. Just like how we managed mobility operations, the cities we operate in will be divided into clusters of around 40-80 kms. You will be responsible for battery charging/ swapping infrastructure within your cluster and will report into the City Head for Yuma
In short, you will be at the center of making sure BaaS operations and services are impeccable within your cluster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Launching Yuma Energy in a new cluster or in areas of the existing cluster.
- Spear head execution of day-to-day operations and implement the strategy for the cluster.
- Manage a diverse team of on field executives directly reporting to the Cluster Head.
- Track and own the performance of all Field Executives in your cluster
- Visit facilities to conduct audits and solve operational gaps.
- Ensure compliance with operational processes
- Own and drive critical operational metrics end to end and achieve performance targets
- Continuously work towards identifying gaps and provide recommendations for improving our processes
- Understand business needs and procure real estate accordingly. Budget for such real estate and sticking to an agreed plan of expansion as well as budgets.
- Work closely with channel brokers/dealers to identify properties, execute plans.
- Have outreach mechanisms to reach out to unexplored market segments for Y-Max station expansion.
- Shortlist prospective properties based on requirements and present the proposed options.
- Provide guidelines around lease vs rental, basic agreement elements and basic legal and policy requirements
- Negotiate commercials, strike B2B tie ups/ real estate partnerships with chains. Negotiate with property owners for expansion. Structure and plan strategic Real estate deals with leading developers/channel partners.
- Represent Yuma Energy at local events in your cluster and work with the Partnership team to create and strengthen relationships with the government and private bodies.
- Constantly evaluate the field operations, implement the standard operating procedures (SOPs), taking corrective actions and strengthening the position of Yuma Energy
- Coordinating with the central control room for maximizing efficiency.
- Being in regular contact with customers and getting their feedback
- You will be measured on the operational KPIs, e.g. the revenue, asset utilization, charging cycles, customer satisfaction index, the efficiency of the fleet management etc.
- Set up periodic meetings with Property owners to solve issues if any. Ensure remedial action is taken.
Key Requirements:
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in managing business and operation. Experience with (electric) fleet management, i.e. logistics, supply chain, business development will be an added advantage
- Entrepreneurial with at least 2 years of experience with managing ground staff.
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Deep understanding of the city in general
- Multi-tasker with a data-driven mind-set, comfort with technology
