Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in Azure cloud testing and strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and executing test cases for cloud-based applications and infrastructure. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for Azure cloud-based applications and infrastructure.

Design, execute, and automate test cases for various aspects of cloud environments, including scalability, performance, security, and reliability.

Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Utilize cloud testing tools and frameworks to optimize testing efficiency and coverage.

Perform both manual and automated testing, as needed.

Identify and report defects, track issues to resolution, and verify fixes.

Analyze test results to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes and tools.

Stay updated on the latest Azure technologies, cloud testing best practices, and industry trends.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on cloud testing.

Strong understanding of Azure cloud platforms, services, and architecture.

Proficiency in cloud testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Azure Test Plans, Visual Studio Test, Selenium, Appium).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications related to Azure or cloud testing.

Experience with performance testing and load testing tools.

Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.

Experience with cloud migration and modernization projects.
