Job Title: Cloud Sales Executive
Location: Bangalore
Reports To: Sales Manager
Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets for cloud solutions and services.
- Prospecting: Identify and generate new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and prospective customers to understand their business needs and identify opportunities for cloud solutions.
- Solution Presentation: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase cloud services and demonstrate how they address customer requirements and pain points.
- Proposal Creation: Prepare and present tailored sales proposals, including pricing, deliverables, and implementation plans to clients.
- Negotiation: Lead negotiation discussions with clients, addressing concerns, managing expectations, and closing sales.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and pre-sales teams to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and met.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in the cloud space to effectively position products and differentiate offerings.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline management using CRM software, and report on sales performance and progress to management.
- Customer Follow-up: Provide ongoing support and maintain relationships with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 to 8 + years of experience in sales, in cloud services.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and familiarity with Private Cloud and public cloud business.
- Skills:
- Proven sales track record and ability to meet or exceed targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and customer engagement.
Certifications: Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals) can be beneficial but are not always required.
