Cloud Platform Engineer

Your role

As a Cloud Platform Engineeryou are responsible for implementing oncloud, on premise and hybrid globalinfrastructuresusing automation techniques andinfrastructure-as-code.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Automation ofinfrastructureprovisioning, configuration, maintenance and orchestration processes
• Support theinfrastructuredesign process
• Automation of deployment processes
• Implement reliable monitoring systems
• Implement system and data backup and recovery procedures
• Produce documentation forinfrastructuremaintenance and operations
• Transfer knowledge to the Operations Team
• System performance tuning and general improvements
• System troubleshooting

Who you are

• Strong Knowledge in Linux Operating Systems.
• Experience in Developing and evolving theCloudinfrastructurein AWS or GCP or Azure
• Good understanding of Networking
• Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar
• Hands on experience in Configuration Management tools like Ansible
• Hands on experience inInfrastructureProvisioning tools like Terraform
• Hands on experience in automatinginfrastructureusingInfrastructureAs Code tooling
• Experience in Docker and container Orchestration tools like Docker swarm or Kubernetes or Openshift.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD and GitOps Concepts and tools like Jenkins or Argo-cd.
• InfrastructureMonitoring tools like Prometheus, Nagios Sensu, OpsGenie etc.
• Log monitoring tools like ELK or Graylog.
• Comfortable in Bash or Python or Go programming Languages.
• Experience in hybridcloudbasedinfrastructure.
