Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone with extensive experience in Azure Cloud infrastructure with ability to design, develop and manage different azure components. You'll will also hold an experience in automating infrastructure deployments and implementation of DevOps best practices.

The team you will be joining is a part of Charles River Development (or CRD), that became a part of State Street in 2018. CRD helps create enterprise investment management software solutions for large institutions in the areas of institutional investment, wealth management and hedge funds. Together we have created first open front-to-back platform - State Street Alpha, that was launched in 2019.

What You Will Be Responsible For
As Cloud Platform Engineer you will
- Configure and manage the infrastructure deployments on Azure Cloud.
- Troubleshoot and support for production level deployments and client onboarding tasks.
- Implement and manage different Azure components like virtual machines, networking, firewalls, application gateways, load balancers, SQL Servers, DNS, active directory, storage accounts, VNets, private endpoints, etc.
- Infrastructure automation through Terraform, PowerShell scripting etc.
- Configure and manage the CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps.
- Implement automation, IAC and DevOps best practices.
What We Value
These skills will help you succeed in this role
- Experience with network infrastructure setting up and managing firewalls, WAFs, network segregation, VPNs, and network ACLs, load balancers.
- Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and TCP/IP networking.
- Experience with windows failover cluster, SQL servers, SQL always on cluster
- Mid-level Linux experience.
- Basic scripting and IAC automation experience
- Experience with public cloud, Azure is a plus
- Experience with Kubernetes, microservices architecture is a plus
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Analytical field required, Master's preferred
- Azure Cloud Platform Certification preferred
- 8-10 years of infrastructure deployment experience, with at least 2 years in Azure
- Demonstrated Azure deployment experience
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure technologies and services.
- Working experience with global azure deployments.
- Working experience with highly segmented networks in public and private clouds.
- Working experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies in Azure
- Prior enterprise cloud architecture/design experience a huge plus.
- Excellent communication, documentation and troubleshooting skills
- An innovative approach to work, constantly looking to upgrade the system to more efficient and effective new technologies and processes
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
