Job Description

As a Cloud Ops Engineer for BlueRock Security, you will:

  • Design, build, and manage Cloud Infrastructure for development, test, and deployment of BlueRock product/SaaS on to AWS, Azure, and GCP clouds
  • Design, build, and manage K8s infrastructure for test, demo, and customer environments
  • Develop automation to build and deploy product images on to cloud
  • Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) to deploy and manage dev, test, and prod SaaS environments
  • Implement security process to protect data from unauthorized access
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents in collaboration with development and IT teams to restore service
  • Monitor and analyze cloud resource usage, identify cost-saving opportunities, and build processes/tools to optimize usage

You could be a great fit for this role if you have: (Must Haves)

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science (or equivalent)
  • At least 5+ years of experience in design, configuration, and automation of cloud infrastructure, EKS, or generic Kubernetes clusters
  • Strong programming knowledge in Python, Go, Scripting, Terraform, chef/Ansible, and Salt in Linux environments
  • Strong work experience with AWS cloud platform; familiarity with other public clouds, such as Azure and GKE
  • Strong work experience with Docker Containers, Kubernetes configuration, deployment, and best practices
  • Familiarity with container networking and monitoring tools
  • Experience with debugging container applications on Linux (tcpdump, Sysdig, cAdvisor etc)
  • Experience with metrics/log/event management framework - ELK, Grafana, Influx, Kafka, etc., and integration to SaaS solutions (Splunk, Syslog, Elastic)
  • Knowledge of best practices for Agile development and CI/CD-driven product development
  • Exposure to PKI, software signing, secure software supply chain, zero trust

  • AWS Solution Architect
  • Linux Foundation CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer)
