We are currently seeking a Networking Senior Specialist to join our team in India
Position Overview
Maintain the operations of the customer's network infrastructure to ensure smooth operation of production systems, applications LAN, WAN, Wireless and Cloud.
The Network Cloud team will work with a fast-paced global leader in IT Services, helping to ensure our clients datacenter and cloud disruptions are quickly and efficiently resolved. As part of our Network Engineering team, you will be responsible for steady-state support of the customer's network, including all incidents, requests, problem records, and tasks associated with that support as well as design and implement new network solutions for our clients environment.
Position's General Duties and Tasks:
Candidates must be able to carry out complex network support duties including:
- Testing, maintenance, and analysis of all elements of the network facilities.
- Maintain SLA metrics.
- Advise on security issues and implications to network solutions
- Overcome obstacles and drive work efforts to successful completion, achieving the intended result without any adverse impact to the production environment
- Contribute to projects to improve product support, customer satisfaction and team efficiency
Qualifications
- Core Skills
- Knowledge of network performance, network administration and troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge of network related hardware and software (including routers, switches, TCP/IP, Ethernet, VPNs, etc.) .
- Cisco Switching, routing and Meraki wireless management experience
- Experience managing on prem and Cloud networks
- Create, manage and delete virtual networks and their associated subnets
- Enable and disable service endpoints for virtual networks and subnets
- Create, manage and delete virtual network to virtual network peering connections
- Manage Security Groups, Public cloud virtual gateways, Express route and dedicated connections
- IPAM
- Experience managing Application Centric Infrastructure and Nexus software
- Network automation and scripting abilities
- Experience working in IT Outsourcing and Managed Services organization
Nice to have skills, but not required:
- Experience with Load BalancersF5 Systems
- Gigamon management
- SDWAN
- DNS
- Firewall
Education Requirements
- Undergraduate degree and 5+ years relevant network troubleshooting experience in an enterprise environment experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience, Cisco or AWS certifications.
