Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing technologies, systems architecture, and infrastructure management. You will be responsible for deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions and services to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Develop automated cloud infrastructure management solutions, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with development teams to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Implement and maintain cloud security practices, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues to maintain uptime and performance.
Automate cloud system deployments and configurations, as well as manage and provision resources.
Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and trends to recommend innovative solutions for infrastructure improvement.
Provide cloud support and guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth cloud operations and deployments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
Knowledge of cloud networking, storage, and security best practices.
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex issues in cloud environments.
Good understanding of databases, serverless architectures, and cloud services (e.g., AWS EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Cloud certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, etc.).
Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
Experience with cloud monitoring and management tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
