About the Role:
We are seeking a talented AWS Engineer for a remote position. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills along with a strong technical skill set.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Directory Services: Integrate and manage AWS with Active Directory for user authentication and authorization.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of applications.
- Database Management: Administer and optimize MSSQL and RDS databases to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
- Cloud Security: Implement cloud infrastructure security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure a smooth and efficient deployment process.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
Required Skills:
- Over 3 years of experience in AWS cloud engineering
- Demonstrated expertise with Terraform and CloudFormation
- Practical experience with integrating AWS and Active Directory
- Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices
- In-depth knowledge of MSSQL and RDS databases
- Excellent communication skills
