Job Description

Technical/Cloud architect in charge of providing technical solutions designs in line with platform standards to meet the requirements of various projects related to private cloud and public cloud.
Part of the SG Cloud Platform architecture team working on transversal architecture topics.

Qualification/Certification:

Bachelors/Master s degree in computer/information technology disciplines
Good to have certificate of TOGAF or other Architecture framework.
Essential to have Architect certification (AWS/Azure)

Key Responsibilities:

- In charge of assembling, within the framework of projects, the various technical infrastructure components to design optimal infrastructure solutions.

- Delivering/enhancing platform architecture by contributing into various architecture studies required delivering robust, compliant, and secured solutions to support various IaaS and PaaS offering of the platform for both private and public cloud.

- Providing architecture guidance on the strategic initiatives of the technology department.

- Playing a role of referent architect for the platform services to provide ongoing architecture support required by development teams.

- Conducting architecture reviews of platform services to ensure compliance against standards, principles and architecture framework.

- Working in partnership with architects from other departments within the platform as well as architects from other business units requiring support from the cloud platform.

- Adhering to the architecture governance process for approval on various architecture proposals

Profile required

Mandatory Skills/Experience:

- At least 5+ years of experience as solution architect or technical architect with at least 2+ Years experience in either private or public cloud technologies

- Experience of working on various technology stacks related to Compute, storage, network, security, containers, file storage, database management systems delivered through IaaS, PaaS, SaaS or traditional on-prem.

- Experience of delivering medium to complex resilient and highly available architecture solutions using multiple technologies and at a scale to support enterprise requirements.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels, ability to communicate/present complex technology discussion to non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience of delivering architecture solutions in lines with defined architecture frameworks like TOGAF, Cloud Well Architecture Framework, Archimate, etc.

- Cloud Architecture certification on either public or private cloud or equivalent experience to validating knowledge and skills required to be Cloud architect.

- Great team player with ability to work as an individual contributor or as well as in team with collaborative approach.

Desired Skills/Experience:

- Good to have Cloud Architecture Certification (AWS/AZURE)

- Knowledge of Infrastructure components of Private Cloud or Public Cloud

- Knowledge of end-to-end Software development cycle

- Experience in microservice architecture

- Knowledge of technologies used for delivering Infrastructure as code like Terraform

- Experience of performing Cloud migration activities or understanding of various technologies, integrations and approaches that can be adopted for Cloud migration
