As a GCP cloud security architect, you are responsible for developing and overseeing a cloud computing strategy for our clients. This includes working with clients to understand their Google Cloud Platform (GCP) adoption plans, hosted application designs, and cloud management and monitoring methods. The GCP cloud security architect will provide clients with industry best practices and insights regarding application architecture and deployment in GCP environments.
At least 8+ years of experience in architecting and implementing public cloud platforms in two or more Cloud Service Provider networks (Azure, AWS, GCP).
At least 6+ years of work experience with public cloud networks and security: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
In-depth knowledge of deploying hybrid-cloud integrations leveraging Express Route, Direct Connect, Partner Interconnect, Virtual WAN, Transit Gateway, NCC, SDWAN, VPN, and inherent cloud-native solutions related to the respective cloud service providers (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Should have sound understanding & knowledge of various security technologies & techniques like Anti-malware, ATP (Advanced Threat Protection), Endpoint Security, PIM, DDoS, WAF, NGFW, VPN, SIEM, XDR, SOAR, XSOAR, SOC etc.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify and resolve security incidents.Familiarity with cloud security platforms like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform.
A strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
Conduct infrastructure security planning, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and scanners for detecting vulnerability. Perform security operations (SecOps) responsibilities. Manage the deployment of SIEM software and automated security alerts.
Utilize security orchestration and response automation (XDR, SOAR, XSOAR).
Establish and manage data access controls and provide identity, authentication, and access management design and oversight (IAM). Contributes subject matter expertise advice in the areas of Cloud security automation at both the enterprise and project level with a focus towards cloud security.
