Cloud Architect

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect with strong expertise in DevOps and Automation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and be able to design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud-based solutions for clients, ensuring high levels of availability, scalability, and security.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment processes and reduce manual error.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps processes into their software development lifecycle.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and tools to enhance the company's cloud capabilities.
• Participate in the development of company-wide cloud standards and best practices.
• Ensure cloud-based solutions are cost-effective and aligned with clients business goals.
• Work with clients to understand their requirements and design cloud solutions that meet their needs.
• Mentor and train junior team members on cloud architecture and DevOps best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong experience with DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform).
• Experience with automation and scripting languages (e.g. Python, Shell, Ruby).
• Strong understanding of cloud security and privacy standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of networking and infrastructure as a service (IaaS) concepts.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Cloud certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect).
