Aviato Consulting is dedicated to helping businesses succeed with Google Cloud and need a Cloud Architect to help with our Australian based clients (working mainly 0900 to 1700 but on occasion 0730 to 1530 IST time).

Key Responsibilities:
- Design Google Cloud Architecture as per Google Best Practices
- Ensure that customers use of Google Cloud is secure, scalable and resilient.
- Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand business needs, gather technical requirements, and design solutions.
- IaC Design & Development: Understand the best practices when using IaC to deploy, and work closely with DevOps and Data Engineers
- Write high quality documentation, including design documents and code readme files.
- Participate in technical reviews, code reviews, and architecture assesments.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years working with cloud-based platforms.
- 3+ years experience with Google Cloud
- Terraform and IaC understanding
- Strong understanding of data architecture and processing techniques.
- Solid understanding of ETL pipelines, data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and big data management principles.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent English communication skills
- Client-facing experience and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
Qualifications:
- Required Certifications: Google Cloud Professional Architect
- Desirable Certifications (e.g., Professional Developer, DevOps, Data Engineer, etc) are a plus.
