Job description:
- 8+ years of GCP experience
- Experience in Operating Systems(Linux/Windows)
- Design, develop, and implement secure and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP using infrastructure as a service (IaaS)
- Migrate on-premises infrastructure and applications to GCP, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
- Manage and optimize GCP resources for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Design scalable secure and cost-effective cloud architecture on GCP, this involves selecting appropriate GCP services.
- Experienced in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks such as Terraform , Deployment Manager, Google cloud SDK
- Experience in compute and networking solutions in GCP such as VM, Containers, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), serverless computing, VPC, Subnets, Routes, Load Balancers and VPN Connections
- Experienced in storage and database such as cloud storage, cloud SQL, cloud spanner, bigtable, firestore and datastore.
- Experienced and best practiced in security and compliance.
- Implement security best practices for GCP, including IAM policies, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and encryption.
- Monitor and troubleshoot GCP infrastructure issues, proactively identify potential problems, and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand their requirements and translate them into cloud-based solutions.
- Stay up to date on the latest GCP offerings and technologies, continuously improving your knowledge and skills.
- Document infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Certifications: Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or related certifications
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure on GCP
- Strong understanding of IaaS and PaaS concepts.
- Experience with GCP core services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Networking, and Cloud IAM.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
