Skills Required:
Generic:
- Thorough understanding of cloud-based solution such as SaaS, IaaS and PaaS.
- Understanding of virtualization, management and configuration of Infrastructure resources
- Linux system administration skills
- Experience on DevOps tools like Terraform, Ansible, Git, Chef, puppet.
- Strong understanding of Networking, Security compliance principles in cloud environments
Cloud Specific:
Proficient in designing and developing solutions on any of the cloud AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP
AWS: In depth knowledge of key AWS services like VPC, Route53, EC2, Cloud Watch, S3, Lambda, IAM, Elastic Cache, Amazon Redshift, EKS, RDS, Transit Gateway, Autoscaling, SNS
Azure: Hands on Experience using Microsoft Azure, VNET, VWAN Hub Routing, Azure EntraId, Gateways, Azure ExpressRoute, Private link, VPN, Azure KeyVault, Managed HSM and AKS.
GCP: Hands on Experience in provisioning and managing GCP Projects, Shared VPC, VPC network, Cloud Storage, GKE, IAM, Compute Engine, VPN Interconnect, Cloud DNS.
- Hands on Experience in provisioning and troubleshooting of EKS Clusters, Redis clusters.
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on Microsoft Azure specifically using AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), GKE and EKS.
- Expertise and demonstrate experience in architecting and deploying Azure/AWS/GCP solutions serving operational and analytical needs from both an infrastructure (security, controls, Active Directory, SIEM, DAM, DLP, etc.) and data (securing and managing access to, conversion approaches, archiving, monitoring, etc.) side.
Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions to both large and small audiences.
Excellent documentation skills to create knowledge data base of Critical issues encountered.
- Excellent Linux, Linux and Windows administration and networking skills.
- Demonstrate ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly; ability to think abstractly.
- Experience in setting up AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI backup policies, backup vaults and lock. Hands on experience in DR failover scenarios and DR strategies.
- Cloud Certification in AWS/MS Azure/GCP/OCI Solutions Architect are preferred.
- Strong Analytical and reasoning skills that result in clear, robust, and accurate solutioning.
