Knowledge of online tax certificate verification services and proficiency in verifying tax calculations and reviewing payoff calculations are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Review Closing Disclosure documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Verify recording fees and calculations to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Utilize online tools to check tax certificates and validate tax calculations.
- Review payoff calculations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues identified during the review process.
- Maintain organized records of all closing documents and related correspondence.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to closing disclosures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on Closing Disclosure review.
- Strong understanding of Title Closing processes and associated documentation.
- Proficiency in using online tools for tax certificate verification and tax calculation checks.
