Job Title: Clojure Functional Programmer

Location: Remote- India

Duration: Full Time

Proficiency in Clojure and Java

Strong experience in backend development using both languages. Familiarity with functional programming principles in Clojure. API Development Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Core Java, Clojure and Spring Boot.

Implement microservices architecture to ensure scalability and flexibility of the system.

Integrate Kafka for real-time data processing and event-driven communication.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.

Troubleshoot and debug production issues in a timely manner.

Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our systems.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of experience in Java backend development.

Proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

Working experience with NoSQL database - MongoDB or Cassandra etc

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
