Job Title: Clinical Coder, Data Management

nIntroduction to role:
nJoin our team as a Clinical Coder I, where you'll be primarily responsible for providing support to activities related to coding of Clinical data for ongoing clinical studies with lower scope and complexity. This role works under the direction and support of an experienced Coder. Be empowered to act fast on smart risks and keep ahead in the fast-paced Oncology field.
nAccountabilities:
nIn this role, you will perform coding activities on the assigned project in a timely and efficient manner, code the Medical Conditions and Medication terms in the Coding tool, generate Queries to clarify in order to facilitate coding, and participate in study related meetings as needed. You will also ensure that the priority study terms are processed on precedence and highlight technical issues and potential risks to the Coding Lead in a timely manner. Additional responsibilities include participating in knowledge sharing sessions as applicable, ensuring all functional trainings are completed and documented, ensuring adherence to AZ DM SOPs and Coding Guidance documents, and timely submission of MYTIME report.
nEssential Skills/Experience:
nBachelor or Master Degree in Life science/Pharmacy
nBasic knowledge of clinical development process
nTechnical skills (EDC systems, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
nKnowledge of various medical terms
nKnowledge of MedDRA and WHO-DD
nICH and Regulatory activities
nGood Clinical Practice
nRelevant experience of 3-5 years.
