The Clinical Application Specialist MRI is a critical role within our healthcare technology team, responsible for providing advanced clinical and technical expertise in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). The ideal candidate will be adept at training and supporting clinical staff, optimizing MRI protocols, and ensuring that our MRI systems are utilized to their fullest potential for superior patient care. This role demands a deep understanding of MRI technology, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to solving clinical challenges.
Key Responsibilities
1. *Clinical Training and Support*
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions for radiologists, technologists, and other clinical staff on MRI equipment and software.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure optimal use of MRI systems.
2. *Technical Expertise and Troubleshooting*
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues related to MRI systems, coordinating with service engineers and technical support teams as necessary.
- Perform system evaluations and routine quality assurance tests to ensure equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently.
3. *Clinical Consultation and Collaboration*
- Work closely with clinical teams to understand their needs and challenges, providing expert advice on the use of MRI technology to enhance diagnostic capabilities.
4. *Sales and Marketing Support*
- Assist the sales team by demonstrating the capabilities and benefits of MRI systems to potential clients.
- Participate in marketing events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company s MRI solutions and gather market intelligence.
- Provide feedback to the product development team on customer needs and emerging trends in MRI technology.
4. *Regulatory and Compliance Assurance*
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
Qualifications
- *Education*: bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certification in MRI preferred.
- *Experience*: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with MRI technology in a clinical setting.
- *Technical Skills*: Proficiency in MRI systems operation, protocol development, and image optimization. Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems.
- *Communication Skills*: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical staff effectively.
- *Problem-Solving Skills*: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Experience in handling technical issues under pressure.
