Job description
The Clinical Application Specialist will independently manage surgical cases and train surgical teams on the safe and effective use of our medical devices. This role requires collaboration with surgical teams, providing clinical support, and assisting with training programs for physicians and sales teams within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities:
- Clinical Support and Training: Provide on-site support during surgical procedures to ensure the safe and effective use of devices. Train healthcare professionals and surgical teams on product applications and techniques.
- Customer Engagement and Education: Develop strong relationships with hospital staff and surgeons to facilitate technology integration at new sites. Organize and lead workshops, demonstrations, and training events to educate and expand the user base.
- Product Management: Conduct product trials and evaluations in clinical environments. Manage operating room stock, consignment inventory, and equipment, ensuring optimal asset management and readiness for surgeries.
- Technical Expertise and Development: Stay current with perioperative surgical practices and technology advancements. Act as a clinical resource, providing insights on product features, benefits, and applications.
- Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all activities comply with company policies, including quality standards and ethical guidelines. Maintain professional interactions with healthcare providers and continuously seek self-improvement.
- Administrative Duties: Manage administrative tasks such as reporting clinical activity outcomes, procedure documentation, and expense submissions. Ensure accurate inventory management and procedural support documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a clinical application specialist or in procedural skill development within a medical device company.
- Knowledge of operating room environments and cost management.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office and presentation tools.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
- Experience introducing new technologies to the market.
- Familiarity with operating room procedures and environments.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% based on account needs.
- Professional, organized, and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Fluent in English and local languages as required.
