- Contribute and take ownership of the strategic plan and related documents.
- Ensuring of smooth and quality implementation of the project
- Provide leadership to the Climate Team comprising Case Workers, Village Monitors, etc.
- Hold weekly/fortnightly meetings of Climate Team, Plan realistic outputs, set time-targets, and monitor performance of Case Workers; share progress of the project.
- Development of work plans and budget management according to project outputs and results on prescribed deliverables.
- Undertake necessary liaison and coordinate implementation of the project with all key stakeholders (district administration, line department, technical agencies and banks).
- Promote the concept of community ownership and management.
- Facilitate End User women to become 'business women' providing an environmental service to society at large and compensated with carbon revenue.
- Develop village volunteers as a strong, independent, powerful, and effective cadre
and ensure high functionality, survival rate and performance in climate project
- Ensuring of smooth and quality implementation of the project and provide program
reports that are timely and meet institutional and donor requirements.
- Arrange skill and conceptual training for the Climate Team through monthly meetings and encourage innovative attempts to solve practical and strategic problems.
- Ensure that demographic, energy usage, and usage data is maintained in real-time with the monitoring solution constantly updated.
- Act as the lead specialist and technical expert for CBM India Trust in matters relating to energy efficiency and carbon reduction.
- To explore ways of generating income for the implementation of climate change projects.
