The Client Project Manager is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for leading and directing concurrent client projects classified as standard or complex.
The primary responsibility of the Client Project Manager is to interface with all project stakeholders to take projects from original concept through to final implementation, including handing over to Operations (whether internal to the organization or into the client's support operations).
Key Responsibilities
What you'll be doing
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to ensure project success.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, challenges, and achievements.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in IT infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure components.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Power Point, Excel, Jira, Trello).
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- 7-8 years of total experience and 5 years of relevant experience.
