This role is essential in maintaining and enhancing the quality and functionality of our infrastructure.
As a Civil Mason at Vortex IT Technology, you will be responsible for performing various civil masonry tasks, including joinery and other related work. Your expertise will contribute to the upkeep and improvement of our facilities, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.
Perform masonry work including bricklaying, plastering, and tiling as per project specifications.
- Undertake joinery tasks, such as the installation and repair of wooden structures, doors, and windows.
Carry out general maintenance and repair work on building structures and facilities.- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain masonry tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.- Report on progress and any issues encountered during work.
- Minimum Education Qualification:
Relevant experience in civil work, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in masonry and joinery.
Proven experience in civil masonry work, including tasks such as bricklaying, plastering, tiling, and joinery.- Experience in using various tools and equipment related to masonry and joinery.
While specific certifications are not required, relevant vocational training or qualifications in masonry or joinery will be advantageous.
Strong technical knowledge of masonry and joinery techniques.- Proficiency in using masonry tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor.- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
