- We are looking for a Civil Engineer/ Designer (Water Resources) who should be an expert in water resources engineering, including complex stormwater and drainage design, wet utilities, floodplain analysis, hydraulics and hydrology, and hydrodynamic analysis and modeling
- The Engineer/Designer is responsible for planning, designing, and managing water-related infrastructure projects to ensure sustainable and ecient use of water resources
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design hydrology and hydraulic (HH) models using HydroCAD/SWMM/HYMO.
- Creating hydraulic models to simulate the flow of water through channels, pipes, and other hydraulic structures and developing hydrological models to simulate water movement within a watershed.
- Analyzing the impact of land development and infrastructure changes on floodplains using HEC-RAS.
- Design Technically complex engineering projects require drainage analysis, remediation, and Steady/unsteady flow analyses.
- Complete quality work within budgets and timelines. Collaborate with other project managers and senior staff on project status, schedules, design, and construction issues.
- Attend meetings with multi-disciplinary teams and clients.
- Provide the Level of Eort (LOE) for clients.
Qualifications:
- Having worked on water resources projects in the USA (preferred)
- 5 years of experience in water resources projects, stormwater engineering/management, hydrology and hydraulic (HH) modeling.
- Highly proficient in HydroCAD, SWMM, and other HH tools.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
