- With a specific focus on India, ensure strong partnerships are built across the internal and external stakeholders. In addition, to build a network of strategic partnership with government entities such as Ministry of Civil Aviation, and DGCA, etc. Ensure appropriate reporting back to VP India and Nepal for potential opportunities and also concerns, so that a broad landscape view is available to the VP at any given point.
- Implement a relationship framework for multiple government and semi-government agendas on the local and federal government level. Supported by a comprehensive reporting mechanism to provide regular reports to Senior Management across the company to enable the Airline to achieve its objectives , targets and adhere to the governments directives to achieve synergy with the partners.
Develop, maintain, and leverage partnerships with the relevant parties in various relevant authorities in India, with the intention of ensuring a strong and unified response to both crises and opportunities that impact the station
Focus on maintenance of relationships and provision of support and service to various VIPs, when moving through India, and using the airline. Utilise these opportunities to further develop mutually beneficial relationships between Emirates and other parties.
Ensure a network of India based entities is developed and maintained, across both the public and private sectors, to ensure Emirates is properly represented in various forums, networks, and meetings. Ensure potential opportunities for Emirates are understood and presented to VP.
Represent Emirates in the required events as directed by VP. To work in collaboration with Aero political Affairs with to influence the development of industry policies, standards, practices and systems that help the unique business requirements of Emirates and the industry at large.
Conduct regular visits to stations to oversee and meet with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and other relevant stakeholders to foster strong relationships .
