Job Summary:
The City Operations Head will be responsible for overseeing the entire operations within the city, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and seamless delivery experiences for our customers. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to manage and optimize citywide operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of city operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, and last-mile delivery.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of operations managers, supervisors, and staff to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Performance Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining service quality standards and promptly addressing any operational issues.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data analytics to monitor performance metrics, identify improvement areas, and implement corrective actions.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with local suppliers and vendors to ensure consistent and high-quality supply chain operations.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and refine operational processes to drive efficiency and scalability.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on operational performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in the quick-commerce, e-commerce, or logistics industries.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing large teams and complex operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics.
