Cisco Network Security Engineer

Job Title: Cisco Network Engineer

Years of Experience: 3 to 6 years

Mandatory Certifications:

CCNP/CCIE/PCNSE or similar network security certification

Mandatory Skill: Load Balancer, Routing, Switching

Technical and Professional Expertise:

The suitable candidate will have at least 3 years experience as a network security engineer

Experience in Cisco security along with any other firewall vendors experience would be a distinct advantage

Minimum of Cisco CCNP Certified Enterprise or Security or equivalent

Minimum of PCNSA PCNSE preferable

Experience in Juniper would be beneficial

Client-facing experience

English written and verbal skills; excellent phone manner

Firm grasp of how routing protocols and switching in Cisco products work

It is a requirement of the position that certifications and specializations achieved are kept current during your employment

Experience in web security and email security would be an advantage

Responsibilities:

Resolving customer issues or escalating to L3 engineer as required

Providing support to our clients on Cisco, Palo Alto & Juniper firewalls

Supporting Cisco security products

Experience of any of the following products would be advantageous; ISE, AnyConnect, Amp, Umbrella & Stealth watch, WSA, ESA & Duo

To work closely with the Professional Services team
