About Our Team
The Lenovo Sustainability Services Organization focuses to reduce the impact of products on the environment by applying business intelligence to maximize reuse and recovery across the product lifecycle. In addition, the Sustainability Services team works with the cross functional organizations to maximize the valuation and extend the lifecycle of assets to provide incremental residual value to Lenovo's Customers.
What You'll Do
The India Circular Economy Services Business Manager will work closely with the Lenovo sales team, Project Management Office and personnel as needed, technical support and the customer to ensure a smooth handover from solution phase to project planning, initiation and beyond. This position will evaluate customer opportunities as presented in, RFPs/RFQs or engagements, from the Services and Hardware Sales teams and use this information to develop solutions to meet the customer's requirements. In addition, this position will verify sales funnel of value recovery services to track milestones and opportunities to establish a P and L pipeline view for executive review. This India Circular Economy Services Business Manager will be responsible for developing and communicating to the various sales organization a creative value recovery service solutions for customers to drive positive value-add, return-on-investments, and lower the total cost of ownership of their assets while positioning Lenovo's other Sustainability Services product offering.
Position Requirements:
- Collaborate with internal teams and Lenovo vendors to analyze customer processes and environments and provide value recovery expertise and overall solution recommendations.
- Creates business case collateral to be leveraged to assist sales to close potential opportunities.
- Educate customers and internal stakeholders on value recovery services. Engage as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on value recovery solutions.
- Challenge existing processes to ensure delivery of the best solution for the customer.
- Generation of P and L pipeline for executive management review.
- Perform auditing and controls of execution to ensure compliancy requirements.
- Maintain an up to date knowledge and understanding of certifications, technology, tools and toolsets in the industry.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Business equivalent.
- Must have experience in project management, product lifecycle management, customer and vendor contracting.
- Experience with electronic product end of life management.
- Experience with process improvements across multiple regions within an organization.
- Vendor management and running an effective business management system.
- Strong ability to produce, leverage and interpret big data sets and operationalize for decision making.
- Highly articulate and professional in both oral and written communication, as well as presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills to achieve desired result.
- Must have 5+ years experience in solution development, contract creation and negotiation, business development, project management and/or services operations experience.
