Purpose of the role

The Circle HR Head East role supports the Circle Director in ensuring that the people agenda for

operations and other functions in the respective Circle is driven through various HR operations,

productivity improvement and talent management areas of work. This is a high visibility

managerial role that requires high levels of assertiveness and influencing skills. The role holder will

interact with Circle functional heads to identify the employee lifecycle needs and address them

with speed and agility. Experience in managing HR in retail, QSR or any other multi-unit business is

preferred.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Administration of employee lifecycle processes and drive efficiencies
2. Work with the Circle operations, sourcing and supply chain teams to drive manpower productivity and optimize costs
3. Partner the Circle Director to draw out talent management and succession plans for the Circle both store and non-store employees
4. Carry out periodical assessment of talent for the store management talent through established processes and build talent pipeline for expansion
5. Ensure recruitment TATs and SLAs are adhered to
6. Monitor adherence to processes and drive corrective actions
7. Enable a line manager driven system that is self-reliant with respect to people management; provide consultative and value added support

Knowledge / Education

MBA graduate from a pedigree institute

3-5 years experience with a track record of accomplishments in partnering

sales/operations teams

Knowledge of Bengali is a must

Preferably from retail, QSR or any multi-unit business

Preferably Should have managed a small team
