We are seeking a talented cinematography intern to join our team. The intern will be responsible for capturing visually stunning images that align with the creative vision of the project. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cinematography techniques, lighting, composition, and camera equipment. They should be able to work collaboratively with the director, producers, and other crew members to bring the project to life on screen.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the director and other key stakeholders to understand the creative vision for the project.
Plan and execute the visual aspects of the production, including shot composition, camera movement, and lighting.- Select appropriate camera equipment and lenses for each shot.
Set up and operate cameras, lenses, and other equipment to capture high-quality footage.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
Stay up-to-date with the latest cinematography techniques and technology.- Collaborate with post-production teams to ensure that the final product meets the creative vision of the project.
Requirements:- In-depth knowledge of cinematography techniques, lighting principles, and camera equipment.
Proficiency with a variety of camera systems, including but not limited to digital cinema cameras (e.g., ARRI, RED, Blackmagic), DSLRs, and mirrorless cameras, film cameras.
- Strong understanding of composition, framing, and visual storytelling.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with director, other crew members.- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Flexibility to work irregular hours including weekends, as required by the production schedule.
- Experience working with visual effects and post-production teams is a plus.
A bachelor's degree in film production, cinematography, or a related field is preferred
