CIAM Architect

Job Title: CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) Architect

Location: Remote (Work from anywhere)

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

As a CIAM Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining

identity and access management solutions using Microsoft Entra External ID / Azure B2C

platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and seamless

access for users across various applications and services. This role requires a deep

understanding of customer identity management concepts, strong technical skills, and the

ability to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient CIAM solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and configure Microsoft Entra External ID / Azure B2C solution

based on business requirements and industry best practices.

Lead the architecture and deployment of single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor

authentication (MFA), and user provisioning.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into

technical solutions using Microsoft Entra External ID / Azure B2C capabilities.

Conduct integrations with third-party applications, directories, and systems to

enable identity and access management functionalities.

Have a strong application development skills.

Provide expertise in troubleshooting CIAM product issues and ensure the stability

and security of the identity infrastructure.

Develop and maintain documentation related to CIAM configurations, processes,

and procedures.

Stay updated with CIAM products releases, security advisories, and industry trends

to recommend and implement improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or

equivalent experience).

Proven experience architecting and implementing Microsoft Entra External ID /

Azure B2C solutions in enterprise environments.

Strong knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) principles and

technologies.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra External ID / Azure B2C Cloud platform,

including SSO, MFA, and API integrations.

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and

integration tasks.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure Cloud.

Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., OAuth, SAML,

PCI DSS).

Previous experience in a similar role as an CIAM Architect or IAM Specialist.
