Role Overview
As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will be pivotal in shaping our technological vision and strategy. You will oversee all our technology and IT operations, driving innovation, efficiency, and growth across our digital platforms and product offerings.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Technology Leadership: Provide strategic leadership for our technology initiatives, aligning them with the overall business goals and vision.
- Product Roadmap: Develop and manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with market demands and business objectives.
- E-commerce and Marketplace Management: Lead the development and optimization of our e-commerce platforms and marketplace integrations, enhancing customer experience and revenue generation.
- Application Development: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of innovative applications, leveraging MERN stack-based architecture for scalability and performance.
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage AWS infrastructure, ensuring robustness, security, and cost-effectiveness of our cloud-based systems.
- Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a high-performing tech team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- IT Strategy and Operations: Define and execute the IT strategy, encompassing infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operational excellence.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with external vendors, partners, and stakeholders to drive technological partnerships and advancements.
- Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Manage the technology budget and resource allocation effectively, optimizing investments for maximum ROI.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience as a technology officer or in a similar senior technology leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in managing IT infrastructure, IT budgets, software development, and systems architecture.
- Extensive knowledge of software development methodologies, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience driving digital transformation initiatives, leveraging cloud technologies, and implementing data-driven decision-making.
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate business objectives into effective technology strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing technology teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights for informed decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, AWS, and/or CISSP.
- Ability to think tactically and translate business objectives into technology initiatives.
- Proficient in risk mitigation and data security of digital assets.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to the Indian market.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies for software development/delivery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
