Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the company's technology strategy and execution in a fully remote capacity. The CTO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of technology development, innovation, and IT operations to ensure that the company's technology infrastructure aligns with its business goals. This role includes strategic leadership in product development, technical innovation, and team management. The position requires monthly travel to the company's headquarters for collaboration and strategic meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's technology strategy to support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Oversee all technology operations and ensure systems and technologies are aligned with business goals.
- Lead innovation and product development efforts, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of technological advancements.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define technical priorities and ensure alignment with overall company strategy.
- Drive the development of new technologies, platforms, and digital tools to enhance customer experience and business processes.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management strategies.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence within the engineering and IT teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a CTO or senior technology executive, ideally in a high-growth or international setting.
- Strong expertise in technology strategy development, product innovation, and IT operations.
- Experience managing large-scale technology infrastructures and leading engineering or IT teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with global teams.
