Role Description

CTO will be part of the core leadership team that helps us achieve our key strategic, financial and marketing goals. The CTO will build on a culture of innovation that drives adoption of new technologies, and development of market leading products.

This is a full-time hybrid role as a Chief Technology Officer at Cognitio Analytics located in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that the CTO will bring the team together every so often, provide in person leadership as needed and drive the development of team.

As the CTO, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of technology strategies that align with our business goals. You will lead a talented team of engineers and developers, ensuring that our technology solutions are scalable, efficient, and secure. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, strategic vision, and strong leadership skills.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Be an important partner in developing, managing, and delivering on product roadmap and associated business goals.
• Own, build, manage the engineering / development talent, processes and practices
• Oversee the product lifecycle from a CTOs perspective and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Lead DevOps: Set up and drive rigorous processes for development, deployment and operations, including QA and testing that are responsive to customers
• Develop and implement multi-tenancy and cloud strategies to enhance scalability and performance.
• Lead initiatives in cybersecurity to protect organizational assets and data integrity.
• Oversee management and continued improvement of IT infrastructure to improve reliability & efficiency and establish and maintain robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
• Drive the development of data infrastructure and analytics to support informed decision-making in all things product and IT
• Drive performance, efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering and development teams.
• Manage, adopt and grow the tech architecture, platform and capability to ensure ongoing competitiveness, success, scalability and high-quality user experience.
• Rigorously manage and optimize technology costs: for development and operations, at all levels.
• Own and manage partnerships / relationships with key tech vendor partners, such as Microsoft, Databricks, etc.

Must have experiences:

1. Overall 15+ in software architecture and development, serving US based customers / end users
2. Building / developing / managing B2B cloud-based software services
3. Azure ecosystem, including Azure web-apps, Azure Kubernetes
4. Successful software deployment in mid to late-stage startups:
5. Practice based understanding of cyber security risks and related solutions
6. Team development experience: hiring, training and retaining high quality talent
7. Bridging between business and tech
8. Tech budget creation and management

• Deep domain experience in Healthcare, Insurance, or Banking
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to drive innovation and strategic technology initiatives
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
