A Leading BFSI A leading BFSI company , setting up its Shared Services Centre in Ahmedabad is looking for an India Head/ COO.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Operating Officer at People Connection located in Gift City Ahmedabad . The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for overseeing the company's operations, implementing strategies to drive business growth, and optimizing processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

The leader will be responsible for driving the Shared Services Centre agenda as defined by the parent company.

We are looking for Leaders with 18-25 years experience. The role will be based in Gift City-Ahmedabad.

The main duties and responsibilities of a COO include:

Designing and implementing business strategies, plans and procedures

Setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth

Establishing policies that promote company culture and vision

Overseeing daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance , HR etc.)

Leading employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication

Evaluating performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics

Participating in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)

Managing relationships with partners/vendors

A detailed JD will be shared with interested candidates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior management role
• Excellent leadership and organizational abilities
• Strong decision-making skills and strategic thinking
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and lead a diverse team
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA is a plus
• Knowledge of industry regulations and market trends
• Previous experience in a similar industry is preferred
