The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing the company's ongoing operations and procedures. The COO will be instrumental in scaling the business, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring exceptional service delivery in line with the company's luxury brand promise.
Key Responsibilities:Operational Leadership:
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's vision and long-term goals.
- Oversee the daily operations of the company, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effective management of resources.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with the Director to establish strategic goals and objectives.
- Drive the company's operational strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives and market trends.
Customer Experience:
- Ensure that every touch point in the customer journey reflects the luxury brand ethos.
- Implement processes that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operational team.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Financial Oversight:
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Monitor operational performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Vendor and Partner Relations:
- Manage relationships with key vendors and partners to ensure quality and service standards.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize value for the company.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure company operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks.
Qualifications:
- 10 - 15 years of executive experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a COO or in a similar senior operational leadership role within the luxury travel or hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of luxury market dynamics and customer expectations.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and willing to learn new things.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial management.
