Role Description

Agastya Energy is seeking a Chief Hydrogen Technology Officer to join our team in Hyderabad. This is a full-time role with flexibility for some remote work. As Chief Hydrogen Technology Officer, you will be responsible for leading and managing our hydrogen energy initiatives, driving the development and implementation of hydrogen energy strategies, and overseeing the operation and maintenance of our green hydrogen fuel cell power generation solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and provide customized solutions. Together, we will revolutionize the energy industry and create a sustainable future.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the hydrogen energy industry, with a focus on green hydrogen
• Strong knowledge of hydrogen fuel cell technologies and their applications
• Expertise in developing and implementing hydrogen energy strategies
• Experience in leading and managing teams
• Understanding of the regulatory and policy landscape related to hydrogen energy
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Passion for sustainable energy solutions and combatting climate change
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)
• Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Hydrogen Energy)
• Ph.D. in Green Hydrogen Energy/Energy Management is a plus.
• Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus

Compensation

• Fixed equity with the 48-month vesting period in the US entity and Indian subsidiary.
• A competitive salary will be decided once we raise the Seed Round, probably by Oct 2024.
