Position Overview:
The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) will play a critical role in shaping and executing the people strategy for the automotive company. The CHRO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, organizational development, performance management, employee engagement, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, driving a culture of innovation, inclusion, and high performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute the overall human resources strategy that aligns with the company's goals, mission, and vision. Act as a key partner to the CEO and other senior leaders in driving business success through people initiatives.
- Talent Acquisition & Management: Oversee recruitment, retention, and development strategies to attract and retain top talent across the organization. Develop programs for leadership development and succession planning.
- Employee Engagement & Culture: Foster a positive organizational culture that supports diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement. Lead initiatives that enhance employee experience and promote a high-performance work environment.
- Learning & Development: Design and implement learning and development programs to build the skills and capabilities of the workforce, ensuring continuous growth and career advancement opportunities.
- Compensation & Benefits: Ensure that the company offers competitive compensation, benefits, and recognition programs that are aligned with industry standards and motivate employee performance.
- Performance Management: Lead the development and execution of performance management systems to ensure that employees objectives align with the company's business goals and drive accountability.
- HR Operations & Compliance: Oversee HR operations, ensuring that policies and procedures are in compliance with local and national labor laws. Manage employee relations and ensure that the company adheres to ethical and legal standards.
- Change Management: Lead organizational change efforts to support business transformations, including mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, and technological innovations.
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI): Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a workplace where all employees feel valued, respected, and included.
- HR Metrics & Analytics: Utilize HR data and analytics to inform decision-making, improve processes, and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven track record as a CHRO or senior HR leader, ideally within the automotive or manufacturing sector.
- Strong experience in developing and executing HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Deep understanding of talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development.
- Experience managing large HR teams and complex employee relations issues.
- Excellent understanding of labor laws, regulatory compliance, and ethical HR practices.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to foster transparency and trust within the workforce.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; an MBA or advanced degree in HR is preferred.
- Certification in HR management (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) is a plus.
