Job Brief:
The Head HR will be responsible for promoting an optimum employee experience and will develop, implement, and monitor overall HR strategies, procedures, and systems aligned with the organizations business strategy and goals. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Human Resources to lead our HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, including workforce and management training, policy development, corporate social responsibility (CSR), social media management, and a thorough understanding of international labor laws. As the head of the HR department, you will play a crucial role in shaping our corporate culture, enhancing employee engagement, and driving our sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage and work with key stakeholders for HR operations, compensations and benefits, recruitment and retention, performance management, employee satisfaction and engagement, learning and development.
- Manage the full talent acquisition cycle by recruiting employees from a diverse pool of talent, including interviewing, background checking, contracting, onboarding, and induction.
- Drive internal equity and external competitiveness through compensation, rewards, and benefits policies, and through benchmarking with industry standards.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance. Develop and execute the performance management and talent review process and cycle, reward and recognition activities, and employee engagement activities to make the processes more effective for high-performing and high-potential employees.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Provide performance management guidance to line management, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary action.
- Assess training needs, plan, and monitor the delivery of learning solutions across the business while ensuring the completion of mandatory training as per the training plan.
- Provide leadership and work closely to build employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues proactively. Bridge management and employee relations.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management, with a particular focus on international labor laws relevant to the cloth manufacturing industry.
- Manage social media communications on platforms like LinkedIn to enhance employer branding.
- Lead CSR initiatives and promote sustainability practices within the organization.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as an HR manager or other HR roles for a minimum of 15 years.
- People-oriented and results-driven.
- Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices, with specific expertise in international labor laws applicable to the cloth manufacturing industry.
- Degree in Human Resources or related field; Masters degree in HR preferred
