Role Overview: As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at BizVidya, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and operations. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, from funding and financial modeling to monetization strategies and financial compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy: Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with BizVidya's growth objectives and funding milestones.
- Funding: Lead fundraising efforts, including investor relations, pitch preparation, and negotiation.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Prepare detailed financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis to guide strategic decisions.
- Financial Modeling: Build robust financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis, and investment decisions.
- Monetization Strategies: Identify and optimize revenue streams, pricing strategies, and monetization opportunities.
- Financial Operations: Oversee financial reporting, accounting processes, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate financial risks through effective policies and controls.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a CFO, VP of Finance, or similar role in a startup environment.
- Solid understanding of fundraising, financial modeling, and strategic financial planning.
- Experience in educational services or related industries is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
