We are currently seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our dynamic executive team.
We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee all financial aspects of SLK Group's operations globally. Based in India, the CFO will be responsible for driving the financial strategy, managing financial planning, and ensuring compliance and sound risk management across the organization. This role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with the CEO and senior leadership, playing a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial direction and success. The role includes opportunities for travel across all our office locations worldwide.
- Financial Strategy and Leadership:
Develop and implement the company's financial strategy aligned with the overall business goals.
- Provide strategic financial guidance and recommendations to the CEO and executive management.
Collaborate with senior executives to understand their needs and deliver financial solutions that drive business growth.
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
Lead all aspects of financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.- Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to optimize results.
Conduct in-depth financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Accounting and Financial Reporting:
Oversee the preparation and approval of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements, adhering to GAAP or IFRS as applicable.
Manage the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and disclosures.
- Risk Management and Compliance:
Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial data and ensure regulatory compliance.- Oversee risk management processes, including insurance and asset protection strategies.
Ensure the company complies with all applicable financial and tax regulations.
- Treasury and Capital Management:
Manage the company's capital structure, including debt, equity, and cash management strategies.
- Oversee cash flow management to meet financial obligations and optimize financing strategies.
Build and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions, negotiating terms and managing credit lines.
Serve as the primary liaison with investors, providing insights into the company's financial health and strategies.- Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors and investors.
Communicate the company's financial strategy and performance to shareholders and potential investors.
- Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the finance team is equipped with the skills and resources needed to achieve financial goals.
Identify and implement opportunities for training and professional development within the finance team.
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a master's degree (MBA) is preferred.- ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) certification is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in senior financial roles.
- Proven expertise in corporate finance, financial planning, analysis, accounting, and risk management.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to diverse audiences.
Experience managing investor relations and communicating with boards and senior executives.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, financial software, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong leadership and management abilities with a talent for inspiring and guiding teams.
- High level of integrity, dependability, and a results-oriented approach.
