The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships. They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management.
Responsibilities
1. Financial Strategy:
Develop, implement, and manage the company's financial strategy in alignment with business goals.
Provide insights, analysis, and recommendations to the CEO and the board to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop predictive modelling for different scenarios.
2. Financial Planning and Analysis:
Prepare and manage the annual budget and long-term financial forecasts.
Monitor and analyze financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Identify cost-saving and revenue-enhancing opportunities.
3. Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Implement robust internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets.
4. Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to the CEO, board of directors and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with financial standards and statutory requirements.

5. Treasury Management:
Manage working capital, cash flow, and investment activities.
Develop financing strategies, including debt and equity, to support growth.
6. Tax and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all Indian tax laws and regulations.
Develop and implement effective tax strategies and manage tax planning.
7. Strategic Financial Partnerships:
Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders.
Explore funding and financing opportunities to support company growth and projects, if and when required.
8. Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
Strong finance-based analytical skills
10 - 15 years of finance experience
CPA or MBA preferred but not required
