Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Chief Designer at Uniwood in Kochi. The Chief Designer will be responsible for overseeing the design process and collaborating with the design team to create innovative and functional furniture designs. Daily tasks include conducting design research, creating design concepts, producing detailed drawings and specifications, and providing guidance to the design team. The Chief Designer will also work closely with clients to understand their vision and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of furniture design principles and materials
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
Experience in designing modular kitchens, wardrobes, and home furniture
Ability to lead and mentor a design team
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with clients and other stakeholders
Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
