This is a remote position.
- Develop Chess instruction curriculum and weekly lesson plans that engage both beginning chess players as well as students with intermediate or advanced chess skills
- Ability to teach using different methods and teaching styles, ensuring that all participants are fully engaged
- Inspire, motivate and foster confidence in all students
- Discuss and demonstrate the relevance of chess in other areas of life, particularly in strategy and decision-making
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chess Instructor
- A thorough understanding of best practices in teaching
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, flexible disposition
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
