Job Description:
We are seeking a Chemist / Asst. Chemist for our D.M. Plant. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in chemistry and experience in analyzing water samples, ensuring the quality and efficiency of the D.M. plant.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular water sample tests and analyses.
- Maintain the chemical balance of the D.M. plant.
- Troubleshoot and resolve plant-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Keep accurate records of tests and analysis results.
- Collaborate on process improvements.
- Train and mentor junior staff.
- Stay updated with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the steel or power industry.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and chemistry.
- Experience with various testing methods for water samples.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and in shifts if required.
