We are seeking experienced Chefs for restaurants in Australia specializing in Western cuisine. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a professional kitchen and a passion for creating delicious and innovative dishes. The Chef will be responsible for managing the kitchen, developing menus, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service.
Responsibilities
- Develop menus that are creative and innovative, while also considering dietary restrictions and customer preferences
- Manage the kitchen and ensure that all food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring that they are following all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Order and maintain inventory of all food and kitchen supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with management and other team members to ensure that all aspects of the restaurant are running smoothly
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience working as a Chef in a professional kitchen
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or a related field
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of Indian cuisine
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
