  • Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, preparing high-quality dishes and ensuring the smooth operation of your station.
  • Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and Cook: Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu and standards set by the Head Chef.
Manage Section: Oversee a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., sauce, fish, meat, pastry) and ensure it runs efficiently during service.Quality Control: Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of dishes meet the restaurant's standards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, order supplies as needed, and minimize waste within your section.
Hygiene and Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Sous Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and coordinated service.Training: Mentor and train junior kitchen staff, including Commis Chefs, in cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and willing to assist in other sections of the kitchen as needed.
  • Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality dishes.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
* Culinary school diploma or equivalent certification is preferred.
