• nReporting to our Head Chef you will be responsible the preparation, presentation and display of all menu items.
• nYou will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment and equipment.
• nAs a leader in our Kitchen you will be expected to develop and coach our junior chefs, and provide them with learning opportunities and access to your experience and knowledge.
• nAs our Chef de Partie you will also have the opportunity to work Sous Chef on menu development and creation.
• nActively share ideas, opinions and suggestions to improve the environment and menus
• nEnsure the consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and/or buffet menus according to property recipes and standards
• nCommunicate effectively with the rest of the team and thrive for guest feedback
• nEnsure HACCP procedures are followed and clear records are kept at all times.
• nExceed guest expectations in quality and service of food products

nYour experience and skills include:

• nAbility to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team
• nDiploma /Degree in Hotel Management.
• n5 years industry experience in upmarket brands with minimum 1 year of experience in similar role.
• nStrong Operational/Technical Knowledge.
• nAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
