Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in line with restaurant standards and recipes
  • Supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service during peak hours
  • Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and sanitation practices according to food safety standards
  • Assist in menu planning, inventory control, and waste management to optimise kitchen efficiency
  • Ensure food presentation is aligned with company guidelines and customer expectations
  • Provide training and support to kitchen staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Monitor food stock levels and order supplies as necessary to maintain smooth kitchen operations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of 2 years as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a QSR or fast-casual restaurant
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
  • Should be able to handle various stations in the kitchen
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the kitchen
  • Exceptional time management skills, attention to detail is a must and very strong organizational skills
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
